The Formula 1 2023 calendar is out, and it's packed with exciting races. The season will start in Bahrain on March 5th and end in Abu Dhabi on November 26th. There will be 23 races in total, with new additions to the calendar including the Qatar Grand Prix and the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Key Dates
Here are some of the key dates for the 2023 Formula 1 season:
- Start of season: March 5th, Bahrain Grand Prix
- Mid-season break: August 28th - September 4th
- End of season: November 26th, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
New Races
The 2023 season will see the addition of two new races to the calendar:
- Qatar Grand Prix: October 8th, Losail International Circuit
- Las Vegas Grand Prix: November 18th, Las Vegas Street Circuit
Sprint Races
The 2023 season will also see the introduction of sprint races. These races will be held on Saturday afternoons, and will determine the starting grid for the main race on Sunday. The sprint races will be held at the following circuits:
- Baku City Circuit
- Red Bull Ring
- Autodromo Nazionale Monza
- Circuit of the Americas
- Interlagos
